Talented actress Reshmi Ghosh will play one of the super evil powers, a vish kanya who would aid the main evil force of Triloki (Vikramjeet Virk) in creating mayhem and spreading negativity in Zee TV’s upcoming show on the super-hero format, Maharakshak Aaryan (Somersault Productions).

Recently, Reshmi had a very intriguing picture as her Instagram handle wherein she was holding in her hand a snake, and sweetly conversing with the creature.

Eerie, isn’t it?

We immediately buzzed Reshmi to talk about her experience of shooting with snakes, and she told us, “Aah, I was extremely scared and nervous in the beginning. Mujhe saanp ko lubhana tha, and I did not know how to go about shooting the scene.”

So how did Reshmi shoot with the snakes? “Well, I started following the masters (keepers) of the snake as to what they are saying. They clearly told me that the snake’s mouth portion has been cello taped, and that even if the animals’ normal reaction would be to ‘hiss’, nothing will happen. After I realized this, it was easier for me to shoot.”

Talking about the sequence, the actress averred, “Actually in the sequence, I am talking to someone else. But this vish kanya wants to seek attention of the snakes around her. So she holds one of them in her hand, and tries to get its attention. In fact, since we had to shoot with the animal for a brief time (to avoid tiring the creature); we cut short the sequences, and shot at regular intervals so that we do not end up torturing the animal.”

So are snakes now Reshmi’s friends? “Yes, you can say that!! After shooting with them for nearly three days, it was a nice experience.”

You are a brave girl, Reshmi!!
