When 'Tere Sheher Mein' lead Hiba Nawab almost lost her voice...

Hiba Nawab

Actress Hiba Nawab who essays the lead girl in Rajan Shahi’s to-be-launched show on Star Plus, Tere Sheher Mein is on a high, as she very much looks forward to be seen on screen yet again!!

However, the girl had her scary moments over the last week when she almost lost her voice owing to a throat problem.

Yes, it came as a sheer shock to Hiba when she developed a terrible swelling in her throat owing to the seasonal change. The pain was so much, that she barely could talk, and the worst part was that she was not at all audible for few days.

A source from the set says, “With the countdown to the show launch already on, and with a lot of promotional activities to spearhead, Hiba found it tough to cope up with her health issue. But a good medical advice from her doctor, and medications helped her come out of it.”

We hear that even when she talked with her weird voice, Hiba had a prior commitment to promote her show on All India Radio. Also, with a painful throat and bad voice, she even shot for her promotional activities, and continued to shoot for the show.

Says Hiba, “Yes, I was in a terrible mess last week when I simply could not speak. My throat pained a lot, and I had a swelling in my throat. I was put on medications and antibiotics by the doctor. Also, I kept gulping in hot water every now and then to soothe my throat and heal the infection. I am slightly better now, and am glad to be talking again (smiles). It was a real scare. Having said this, I am all eager and waiting for the D-day of Tere Sheher Mein’s launch. It would have been horrible if I had to miss this exciting moment owing to sickness.”

Rajan Shahi’s Tere Sheher Mein launches on 2 March at 10 PM on Star Plus..

As for Hiba, we are glad and happy that you are fit and fine to savour this sweet moment!!
