MUMBAI: Romance is an integral part of our tele serials. Actors work really hard to bring their characters to life. It takes additional effort to popularize an onscreen jodi among the fans and win their love. Not all onscreen couples manage to strike a chord with audience’s heart, but there are some that audience immensely loves.

Two of the onscreen couples who are presently hugely popular among viewers are Rohit-Sonakshi of Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum and Abir-Mishti of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke and the credit of course goes to actors Karan Grover-Dipika Kakar and Shaheer Sheikh-Rhea Sharma.

Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, a romantic drama television series, premiered on 17 June 2019 on Star Plus. It tells the story of Dr. Rohit Sippy and actress Sonakshi Rastogi, two completely different individuals. Both Karan and Dipika did complete justice to their respective roles and fans fondly call them Ronakshi. Rohit and Sonakshi’s love story always keeps the audience hooked to the television screens.

On the other hand, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, which premiered on 18 March 2019, is the spin-off show of the long-running show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Being a spin-off show, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has managed to make a strong place in the hearts of audience in a short span of time. The lead pair of Abir-Mishti, played by Shaheer-Rhea, certainly deserves credit for the show’s popularity. Their fans wait for their sweet romantic moments that create magic on the small screens.
