MUMBAI: Sony SAB’s path-breaking, light-hearted show Kaatelal & Sons, a motivating story of two sisters, Garima (Megha Chakraborty) and Susheela (Jiya Shankar) recently witness the remarkable transformation into boys Gunnu and Sattu. The sisters who challenge societal norms and face hardships head-on, highlight the stereotyped gender roles which are deeply rooted in peoples’ mindsets in our society. While Garima and Susheela have taken over Dharampal’s (Ashok Lokhande) Kaatelal & Sons as Gunnu and Sattu, the upcoming episodes will raise several questions on their real identities. 

While trying to learn the skills necessary to run the salon in disguise, Gunnu and Sattu are constantly faced by several challenges. After mistakenly dyeing a customer’s hair blue, the customer complains to Dharampal where he learns for the first time about the two new boys employed to run his salon. Dharampal immediately calls Gunnu and Sattu at his house to question them about their intentions. Terrified of facing their father as Gunnu and Sattu, Garima and Susheela device a plan to trick Dharampal into believing their background story. Garima decides to enter the house as Gunnu while Sushila enters as Susheela only to re-enter the house through the back door as Sattu. 

Thinking their plan is working seamlessly, Gunnu and Sattu are caught off guard as Phitkari, their helper, barges in the house to reveal that Gunnu and Sattu wear fake moustaches. Dharampal, orders both them to remove their moustaches. 

Will Garima and Susheela’s disguise be exposed in front of Dharampal? 

Megha Chakraborty, essaying the role of Garima and Gunnu said, “The upcoming week is really exciting and funny. Gunnu and Sattu will be facing various challenges and the way they plan to come out of each of them will be really engaging for our viewers. I personally enjoyed shooting for these episodes as there’s a lot of twists and turbulence that come our way. It is an entirely new experience to perform as boys and I am sure our viewers are going to love the twist that awaits for them this week.”
