MUMBAI: Ishqbaaz, a 2016 Star Plus debut that was produced by Gul Khan's 4 Lions Films, received a ton of positive feedback from viewers. The love drama, which starred Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo, and Mansi Srivastava in the lead roles, ended up being a huge hit for the producers and the channel.

Ishqbaaz ended in 2019 after a roughly three-year run, leaving the devoted viewers heartbroken and dissatisfied Even though the beloved show has been gone for around four years, it still maintains a strong fan base. Ishqbaaz viewers must keep in mind actress Nehalaxmi Iyer, who played the crucial part of Saumya.

She was initially introduced as Rudra's (Leenesh Matoo) love interest and buddy. However, since she was revealed to be Svetlana's youngest sister, her demeanor later took a turn for the worse. Fans eagerly anticipate the actress' return to television after her last appearance in ZEE5's Qubool Hai 2.0.

While Nehalaxmi has not yet revealed her upcoming project, the talented actress is getting hitched to her longtime partner and MBA graduate Rudraysh Joshii. She just stated in an interview that she will marry Rudraysh on February 22 of next year.

For those who don't know, the madly in love first met each other in a Zumba class a few years ago, and they quickly grew to be friends. Their friendship quickly developed into love, and they are still together today.

Nehalaxmi talked about same, "And there's been no looking back since (smiles). After our families met recently and gave us their blessings, we made our relationship Insta official. The roka ceremony took place in August. We have a surprise proposal in the works. Although I am not supposed to know about it, I have an idea as we needed our parents' approval. We will have a small engagement ceremony on our big day."

It's interesting to note that Shrenu Parikh, another cast member from Ishqbaaz, will wed actor Akshay Mhatre in December.
