MUMBAI: Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 on Colors has recently started and  has been entertaining the audience with its upbeat drama.

Produced by Shoonya Square Productions, it is a spiritual sequel to the 2015 series Thapki Pyar Ki. It stars Jigyasa Singh, Aakash Ahuja, Jaya Bhattacharya and Rachana Mistry in pivotal roles.

Actor Sandeep Kumaar, who is currently seen as an antagonist 'Vivan Joshi' in television show 'Tera Mera Saath Rahe', will now enter 'Thapki Pyar Ki 2', to play yet another negative role in the show. He says, "I will be seen essaying the character of Rohit in the show. It is a negative lead character. I will be seen as Sargam Singhania's (Jhanvi Jaiswal) boyfriend. She is the sister of protagonist Purab (Aakash Ahuja) and my presence in the show will bring an all together new twist to the plot."

Sandeep started out as dancer and underwent his share of hardships to get here. Sandeep has earlier featured in shows like 'Bahu Begum' and 'Manmohini'.
