MUMBAI: In an unfortunate turn of events, Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke actor Samir Sharma who played the character of Shaurya Maheshwari in the show, apparently committed suicide. His body was recovered today by the Malad police from his rented apartment in Malad west.

Reports claim that Samir might have ended his life two days ago.

TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Kaveri Priyam who played Samir Sharma’s onscreen daughter in the show. Kaveri was aware about the incident. She said, “Everyone on the set is aware about the same."

Kaveri further denied speaking about Samir. She fought back her tears and said, “I don’t want to speak about it." The actress was evidently low and upset.

Kaveri and Samir had few scenes together which were loved by the audience.

Samir has been a part of popular television shows like Jyoti, Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Left Right Left, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki among many others.
