Yuvraj Thakur has not quit, he has been thrown out of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain: Balaji Telefilms

Yesterday, Tellychakkar.com carried a story of Yuvraj Thakur being visibly upset over the ‘repeated disputes’ that he got into with Balaji Telefilms owing to which he went on to quit Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony Entertainment Television. As our readers would know, we had buzzed the Czarina Ekta Kapoor about the same, at the time of filing our story. Later, we got to hear a different version to the story as a source closely associated with the show told us that Yuvraj started acting too pricey, probably weighing himself in the bracket of seniors like Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. His unprofessional behaviour on sets, his tantrums were on the rise, and the production house could no longer tolerate his behaviour. Having said this, they were putting up with his tantrums for some time. He was perhaps the only actor who demanded the production house to cut down on his track, rather than focus on him. Hmm…from the development it seems that there’s lot of bad blood between the actor and the production house. It’s an absolute blame game between the two. But with the above bit of info, we again got in touch with the production house to know their side of the story. This is when we spoke to Mitu Kumar, the Creative Producer on the show who clarified the air in a big way by expressing that Yuvraj has actually not quit the show on his own choice, but has been shown the door by the production house. Here is what Mitu Kumar, Creative Producer, Bade Achhe... told us, “Yuvraj hasn’t quit but has been thrown out. He was unprofessional and would often come late to the shoot or make the shoot wait. On various occasions he threatened to quit if he was pulled up for coming late. It was getting too much to put up with his unprofessional ways and therefore, the production house took the decision to sack him.” We just hope that all is sorted amicably and both the parties should look at settling the matter and let bygones be bygones.
