Zee TV’s Jamai Raja to take leap; Nia to quit?

Time for an exclusive piece of news coming straight from the sets of Jamai Raja.

The Zee TV show  starring Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey, is all set to undergo a major change.

Credible sources from the sets inform us that soon a generation leap will happen in the Sagar Pictures produced daily.

As viewers would know, a leap is considered a major step on any show that adds more drama to the tale.

Now coming to Jamai Raja, sources tell us, “The series will undergo a 20 years leap, post which the new generation will come in force.”

And here comes the shocking part.

The lead Nia, has reportedly put down her papers because of this development.

“The new generation will see Ravi getting back as Sid-Roshni’s (Ravi-Nia) son. Nia who is not keen to play a mom on screen has decided to throw in the towel and called it quits with the show,” added the source.

Well, we too wonder how Nia would have looked as a mom!

We have also heard that along with Ravi, Shruti Ulfat and Sanjay Swaraj will continue to be part of the series post the leap.

For now, the creatives are finalising the storyline and the leap will happen by end August.

When we called Ravi he declined the buzz stating that he hasn’t heard of any such upcoming track.

Nia on her part was unavailable to comment.

We also tried reaching producer Meenakshi Sagar and the channel spokesperson but they remained unavailable to comment.

What is your reaction to this new twist in Jamai Raja? Let us know in the comment section below.

Meenakshi Sagar later connected with us and shared, "Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the leap."
