Zee TV's Rab Se Sohna Isshq (Jay Productions) is all set for a revamp in terms of story line. After taking a six years leap recently, the story will now move forward by another 16 years! Yes, you heard it right! Rab Se Sohna Isshq will take a 16 years leap with the story to focus on the younger generation of Sahiba (Ekta Kaul) and Ranveer's (Ashish Sharma) son. The makers are presently working on the casting process and a fresh new cast will be part of the post leap story. A reliable source tells us that Ekta Kaul will initiate the post leap story by playing the mother. There is every possibility of Daljeet (Kanan Malhotra) not being part of the post leap story. Ashish Sharma we hear will play the son of Ranveer, who will be very much like his father. As per the ongoing track, there will be major drama played on whether Fateh is Ranveer or not, post which Anu and Fateh will get married. On the other hand, Daljeet will also get married to another girl. The post jump plot will have Ranveer's son falling for Daljeet's daughter. We tried contacting Ekta Kaul but could not get through to her. However, Ashish Sharma said, “Yes, I have heard of the leap. But I have not decided on anything as of now. I will be able to decide on whether to stay back or not only after getting to know of the story ahead.” We sent out a text message to producer Jay Mehta and also to the channel personnel, but did not get any reply.
