5 Fashion Trends That Ruled TV in 2015

The small screen has become grander, sexier and more glamorous over the years. It’s no wonder that this medium is giving a tough competition to its more opulent cousin, Bollywood.

From trend-setting stories to fashion-forward styles, there’s a lot TV has to offer. As the year ends, we take a look at five of the savviest trends to have taken the industry by storm…read on:

Palazzos:
Airy and comfortable, palazzo pants are what dreams are made of. Perhaps that’s why most actresses on the small screen prefer to dress themselves up in printed palazzos and smart, solid topics. While youngsters go for junk accessories with their pair, older ladies binge out statement pieces and monotones. Are you taking notes from Hiba Nawab of Tere Sheher Mei, ladies? Time to go shopping!

Crop top and Skirt
Crop tops are season favourites, so how can our beautiful telly ladies be behind? From being practical to extremely comfortable, this combo works wonders on all age groups. Kritika Kamra rocked the look in Reporters and so did Niti Taylor in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, and so can you!

Floral blouse and sari:
Saris have always ruled the roost on the small screen. Their dainty designs and intricate border make us go gaga. This year, the sari trend is rather quirky. Pairing floral-design blouses with simple saris, actresses are taking the six yards to another level altogether. Divyanka Tripathi sports some of the jazziest blouses in Yeh Hai Mohabattein, ladies. Get. Inspired.

Headgears:
From pretty maangtikas to gorgeous clips and bandanas, there’s a lot you can do with your head. After all, women need just a push to perfect their style statement, no? Play around with them whether you’re opting for Indian or western wear. Well, this NYE, set a cool statement. What say, girls?

Reflectors:
This is a wardrobe-staple. Those colourful unisex glares that range from round frames to aviators add a bit of jazz to your look. You can pair reflectors with almost anything. So, what are you waiting for?

Which trend are you digging the most this season? Shout out to us!
