MUMBAI: Pyar Ka Punchnama and Jai Mummy Ki fame actress Sonnalli Seygall is all ready to be featured in the upcoming film Anamika. The film will mark her OTT debut as an actress. She is known for some nice performances in the past.

Team Tellychakkar.com got an exclusive chance to have a conversation with the actress where she spoke about her character in the film Anamika. She also spoke about her experience of working with Sunny Leone and the roles she is looking forward to playing on the OTT platforms.

Tell us about your character in Anamika?

Anamika is a spy thriller for which I am extremely excited. Before this, I have done a few cameos in web series, but Anamika is my debut film on the OTT platform. It is a full-on masala spy thriller with a lot of twists and action that Sunny Leone and I both are doing in this film. The story revolves around two agents and how their paths cross each other after an accident. 

How was your experience of working with Sunny Leone? 

It was an amazing experience working with Sunny Leone. We both know each other socially but this is the first time that we are sharing the screen. It was a wonderful experience. She is an amazing co-star and a very good human being too. It was so good to do action scenes with her. We used to rehearse our action scenes so many times before performing in front of the camera. So, I had a blast working with her. 

What are the characters you are looking forward to playing on the OTT platforms? 

I can’t say this is the only character I wanted to do. But yes there are a few characters which as an actor I want to tick off and which I am really excited to do. One of them was action. In fact, when our director Vikram Bhatt first offered me this film, my reaction was I really wanted to do this film. Action is definitely which I have never done before so I am excited about it.    

Anamika will see Sunny Leone playing the role of a secret agent who lost her memory in an accident. The web series will also see some amazing talents like Sonnalli Seygall, Rahul Dev, Samir Soni, Shehzad Shaikh, and Ayaz Khan. It will be premiered on MX player on 10th March 2022.
