According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor had a long-term relationship with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif before they broke up for reasons that are only known to them. However, how Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt complement each other has always piqued the interest of their millions of followers.

Recently, a Reddit member posted an image of Katrina giving Alia a tight hug, claiming the photo was taken just before Alia began dating Ranbir.

Additionally, a netizen pointed out that Ranbir had never cheated on Katrina with Alia, therefore their connection with the divas wasn't all that strange.

Responding to the rumors much later, Alia said at a press conference that she was the reason behind Ranbir and Katrina's breakup.

Alia was heard categorically refuting every one of these allegations, stating, “I read that I was the cause of the Ranbir-Katrina breakup. It was so ridiculous that I didn’t think it needed a clarification.”

Earlier, Katrina Kaif was questioned if she had any bitterness towards her ex-boyfriend Ranbir and his then-girlfriend-now-wife Alia during an interview with Neha Dhupia on her show, No Filter Neha. The actress responded by saying that she makes an effort to get along well with them. Katrina also mentioned that she never felt bitter and had no resentment towards anyone.

Katrina stated, “I'm taking this as a compliment. But yes, if someone likes you, who knows me well, and feels nice about my conduct, it's a good thing. I'm not trying to be saintly but it's always easier to just make peace, be friends, to be loving. I'm not doing this to make your life easier. But I'm doing it to make my life is easier. It genuinely is more peaceful and you feel lighter and happier when you don't hold on to any anger or grudges."
