MUMBAI :As the release of SRK’s highly-anticipated movie Pathaan is just around the corner, something that has been noticed by fans all around is that the team is not doing too much promotion for the film, especially since this movie marks the superstars comeback the big screens after taking a break for 4 years.

According to some recent news, it was revealed that SRK was the one who chose not to participate in much media interaction and interviews. He even said no to promoting the film on various reality shows. A close source to the team and the star opened up about the same.

According to reports, King Khan is currently not too comfortable with promotional strategies, taking into consideration the controversies that happened in his life. Agreeing to the star’s decision, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham also stayed away from promotional events. The Pathaan team also decided to stay away from reality shows for promotion, and the reason for this decision is clearer now.

According to a media report from a close source of the development, SRK will not attend the Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 16 to promote his spy-thriller film. The source further informed that he would prefer to reach his audience directly, and even shared that he turned down promotional offers from comedian Kapil Sharma for The Kapil Sharma Show.

The source said, “The film has got its momentum and this time SRK who has been avoiding media attention is going ahead with the film release without any conventional media promotion. Despite the leading actors of the highly-anticipated film avoiding media interaction and interviews the film is already considered a blockbuster. The film is predicted to make a business of 30-35 crores on the opening day. As the film nears its release date the excitement is increasing day by day.”

Pathaan is a spy action thriller film directed by filmmaker Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films. The movie features Shah Rukh Khan returning to the screens, as the protagonist, while John Abraham plays the antagonist and Deepika Padukone plays the female lead in Pathaan. The movie is all set to release on 25th January 2023.
