MUMBAI : After a series of unsuccessful movies, Akshay Kumar eventually found success with OMG 2, which was hailed as a national success. Despite competing at the box office with Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, the movie sailed through and ended up being a smash. Even though his fans are enjoying Mission Raniganj right now, fans appear to be upset with Shahid Kapoor for whatever they consider to be the actor's jibe at him.

A brief video of a Padmaavat actor from a recent interview has been doing the rounds on social media since yesterday. Fans of Khiladi Kumar are sharing the video extensively because they believe the actor is being made fun of in a number of his films.

In the short clip, Shahid Kapoor said, “I am trying to do as many movies as I can, but mera kya hai na mein mooche chipkake acting nahi karta. Yahan pe mooche chipka li, wahan pe shave kar liya, do din ki dadhi ugake teesri picture kar li. Mujhe waise wali acting samaz mein hi nahi aati. I like to do one film at a time.”

The fans of Akshay Kumar are upset by this statement for a variety of reasons. Akshay Kumar was spotted with a moustache in movies like Samrat Prithiviraj last year, and he supposedly repeated the appearance in his subsequent movie, Raksha Bandhan.

In response to this, one of Akshay Kumar's fans wrote, “Indian Tom Cruise ko public toh tod hi rahi hai, ab Bollywood me bhi sab todne lage hain publically,” while another wrote, “Iski aukaat hi kia he Shahid Kapoor ki, poore career me sirf 3 hit filme die hoge aur baaki ke baaki super flops. Ye ek maha flop actor he. Ye Akshay Kumar ka 1% bhi nehi he.”

A third one commented, “Soo #ShahidKapoor is indirectly taking dig on #AkshayKumar here… even youngsters are also not respecting sethji akki .. shameful.” One comment reads, “badmaash company me kya kar raha tha ?? hypocrisy ??? #ShahidKapoor @shahidkapoor.”
