Not really; I always think before spending on anything. What are the investments that you have made? Till now I have invested in fixed deposits, property, gold and diamonds. What has been your most expensive purchase? My most expensive purchase is my 1 bhk house in Mumbai that was bought for Rs 25 lakh seven years ago. Do you feel financially secure? Yes, very much. And I have the backing of my husband and family. So, I really don’t have to worry about my future. Who handles your expenses? My dad, as he is a Chartered Accountant. What was your first salary? My first salary was Rs 3000 per month in an advertisement agency. How much money do you carry every day? I carry around 3 to 4k every day and of course my debit and credit cards. Your advice to new investors? I would tell everyone to save at least 30 per cent of their income. Saving is very important in everyone’s life.
