MUMBAI: Shaheer lost his dad to COVID-19 on January 20.

A day ahead of his demise, the actor had informed everyone about his father’s health condition. He shared a Tweet and asked fans, followers and friends, to pray for the well-being of his father.

Shaheer’s tweet read, “My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection… pls keep him in your prayers.”

However, his father passed away the next day. The news about his death reached everyone after Aly Goni paid his last respects and sent condolences to Shaheer and his family. In a tweet, Aly wrote, “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un May Allah rest uncle’s soul in peace bhai @Shaheer_S stay strong bhai.”

The Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures featuring his father. From his solo pictures to endearing family photos, the album Shaheer shared has some unmissable photographs.

Sharing the pictures, Shaheer wrote, “My #GuidingLight”.
