Tellychakkar.com yesterday (14 May 2012) wrote about producer, actor and choreographer Pinky Chinoy choreographing an item number for Colors’ upcoming show Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. And now we have learned that she is producing a show for Doordarshan under the banner Pink Magic Pvt Ltd. She has already produced a show on the same channel titled Mangalsutra Ek Maryada. The new show has been christened Betiyan Vardan Hoti Hai. It will be a story of four different families and their daughters who want to fight for their country. Finally, these girls will come together and fight against corruption with the help of yet another important character, which will be played by Pinky herself. And guess what? Big names have been roped in for the show. The four female leads will be played by Monaz Mevawala, Jyoti Makkar, Mallika Malhotra and Aarti Puri. The other important characters in the series will be Shilpa Shirodkar, Poonam Dhillon, Upasana Singh, Kader Khan, Reema Lagoo and Kiran Kumar. Whoa…that's quite a list! The pilot of the show has been shot in Panvel and Mumbai. The show will go on air sometime in July or August 2012. Producer Pinky confirmed the development and said, "We shot the first pilot on a huge canvas and we are hoping for the best in the future." This will be one show which will definitely deserve a dekho!!!!
