MUMBAI : Akshay is a known television actor best known for his role as Suresh in Colors' show Nima Denzongpa.

He is an Indian actor and model. He is also known for the television show Bhakharwadi. He has also worked in Marathi television shows Yek Number, Be Dune Daha, and Kamla.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor. We asked him about his journey as an actor and the reason why he left the show.

Tell us something about how you began your journey as an actor.

I always wanted to be an actor and met a lot of people during my struggling days. I tried my luck in acting as everyone around me encouraged me and built my confidence. It's only because of their encouragement that I have come this far.

How did you bag your first show?

I was very lucky to get my first show; it was as if it was written in my destiny. I auditioned for my first show, and then the makers liked my performance in the first go itself. Shockingly, I was selected for the role.

What is the reason you left your show Nima Denzongpa?

It was my personal decision as I wanted to go ahead as an actor. The production house and the channels were very supportive of my decision and never stopped me or created any issues when I decided to quit. I am more than grateful to be part of the show.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans do miss Akshay on screen and they hope to see him soon.
