MUMBAI : Colors has launched a new show Spy Bahu starring Sana Sayyad and Sehban Azim in the lead roles. The story of Spy Bahu is lead-centric and depicts the love story of a detective and a terror-suspect.

Spy Bahu is bankrolled by Ashvini Yardi under her production house Viniyard Productions.

TellyChakkar got in touch with talented actor Ayub Khan at the launch of the show. He spoke briefly about his favourite role and more…

Which character has been the closest to your heart till now? “Every character has to be the most interesting character that you're playing. For me to keep the excitement alive, I have to really love the character that I'm currently playing to be my best. So, my current character in Spy Bahu is my favourite right now.”

Do you think you've been typecast in the industry in a father’s role? “I've been very lucky to be given very important and strategic kinds of characters, so I'm really blessed to have done so much work till now.”

What is that one thing/character that you want to explore which other actors and directors haven't explored yet? “I think I would play a ghost! But jokes apart, most of the characters have been explored till now. But I'm content with the character that I'm playing right now.”
