MUMBAI: Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha is one of the most loved and successful shows of television.

Saurabh is a known television personality. He has been part of many television serials and Bollywood movies like Padman, Slumdog Millionaire, Pad Man, Paa, etc.

Currently, he is seen in the serial Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha where he is essaying the role of Vipul Rawal.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Saurabh and asked him how he bagged the show.

To which the actor said that earlier, he had auditioned for two Full House Media shows, Tujhse Hai Raabta and Qurbaan Hua. He was shortlisted, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out and he couldn’t be part of those shows. 

When it came to Aapko Nazron Ne Samjha, the makers had sent his previous audition to the channel and then he was selected and things worked out. 

We also asked him what was the one thing that drove him to the character and the show, to which Saurabh said that he has a lot of respect for the producers of the show, Sonali Jaffar and Amir Jaffar.

He further said that since the previous two shows didn’t work out, this time when they called him, they briefed him about his character and said that he is opposite Narayani Shastri, who is essaying the main character. Since he is playing her husband on screen, he too will be having an important role in the serial. 

Saurabh said that he had worked with Narayani before, and hence, he knew that things would go well while shooting for the serial. That is how he became a part of the show. 

Does the star cast have fun on sets whenever they have free time? He said that he doesn’t mingle much with anyone on the sets as he is into meditation and keeps meditating whenever he gets time. 

In the end, he said that sometimes, he does have fun with his co-stars, especially when they shoot a scene and then suddenly they crack up in between and have a good laugh.
