Nirmal Pandey is set to return to the small screen as a legendary character. Pandey, last seen as the mythical character Dajjal in Star Plus' <em>Hatim</em>, plays Mohammad Ghori in a show titled <em>Prithvi</em> (by Sagar Arts) for the same channel.
"I play King Ghori from the Ghori vansh - Ghori was an outsider who wanted to destroy India and was constantly at war with <em>Prithvi Raj Chauhan</em>. I play an extremely strong character in the show," says the talented actor.

Nirmal Pandey was first seen on TV in Hatim where he played Dajjal (the villain).The actor who shot to fame with Shekhar Kapoor's feature film, Bandit Queen and won critical acclaim for the film Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin is keen on doing more television besides films.
Prithvi is expected to be launched mid- January 2006 or later and is expected be a tri-weekly on Star Plus at an 8:30 pm time slot.
Nirmal has also bagged a role in Prabhu Ke Gud Gaon (an Indo-French Production) where he plays a 70 year old Qawwali singer and has three more films in the pipeline.
