MUMBAI: Sreejita De is a well-known actress in the world of the television industry. She is best known for her performance in serials like Uttaran and Nazar, and she has a good fan following. But she rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss Season 16 and she was known for her fights with Tina Dutta in the show.  The actress recently got married to Michael Blohm-Pape and she seems to be in a happy place.

The Shaitani Rasmein actress who was all set to have a traditional Bengali wedding with hubby Michael immediately after her white wedding had to postpone her plans due to work commitments. The actress revealed, “According to the initial plan, the reception was meant to follow the Indian wedding. However, due to the delay, my mother organised a reception party for us on March 24, attended by our relatives. Both Michael and my relatives were excited about meeting each other (smiles). Although it’s been quite a while, we still hold onto the desire to have a Bengali wedding in Goa with close friends and relatives present. In fact, we haven’t had a proper honeymoon. We are planning a Bengali wedding sometime this year, after which we will finally go on our long-awaited honeymoon.”

The very busy actress even had to put her honeymoon on hold. She said, “I barely get time to talk to Michael. We mostly communicate over phone calls. By the time I return from the shoot, he is already asleep, and I am asleep when he leaves for work. I don’t remember the last time we had a meaningful face-to-face conversation. I miss spending time with him, chatting about our day, watching a good show, cooking together, going out on date nights on Saturdays, and saying bye to him when he leaves for work. However, I appreciate Michael for being so supportive. I didn’t expect him to adjust so well to my erratic and demanding schedule. Sometimes, due to sleep deprivation, I lose my temper, but he continues to support me mentally and gives me strength. it. He has taken on more household responsibilities and become more responsible. Despite the challenges, it’s still fun; it’s a new phase of life that we are experiencing together after marriage.”
