MUMBAI: Choti Sarrdaarni is one of the most loved shows on television and it's quite popular among the viewers.

The serial has a very gripping storyline that keeps the audiences looped to the show. They also love to watch the chemistry between Sarbjit and Meher and the two have become iconic characters on screen.

Before Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was finalized for the show though, a few actresses were offered it but refused.

1 Sonarika Bhadoria

Sonarika refused the show as she had taken a break from television and thus refused the offer.

2. Tanvi Dogra

Tanvi was also offered the role of Meher but why she refused to do the role is still unknown but it’s a loss of a role of a lifetime.

3. Niti Taylor

Niti refused the role as she is on break from television and didn’t want to take up any role.

4. Falaq Naaz

Falaq didn’t do the role of Meher as she didn’t suit the character as per the actress and the makers felt so and that’s why things didn’t work out

5. Jannat Zubair Rahmani

The makers wanted Jannat to play the role of Meher but the actress was busy with some prior commitments and that’s why she couldn’t take up the role.

Well, finally the makers singed Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia the role of Meher which has turned out to be an iconic character.

Fans have commented saying that no one could have done justice to the role the way has, and Nimrat is the perfect choice for it and they can’t see anyone as Param’s mom than Nimrat as she does full justice to the role.
