MUMBAI: Cancer as we all know despite  advancements in medicine, it still remains one of the leading causes of death worldwide. A number of celebrities like Yuvraj Singh, Manisha Koirala, Sonali Bendre, faced this disease and have come out victorious. Actress Twinkle Arora, who is best known for her role as Nehmat is very closely associated to cancer awareness as her mother succumbed to this disease when Twinkle got her first break in the industry.

That right! Twinkle Arora, while signing her debut show  Udaariyaan lost her mother due to cancer. The star was seen going back to shoot within two days of mourning for her beloved. On the death anniversary of Twinkle’s mother, Twinkle was seen distributing food to cancer victims in an institution in Mohali, Chandigarh. She was seen spending time with them and talking to them about her personal experiences of dealing with cancer and how it affected her family and the journey. Twinkle was also seen sharing an adorable video on Instagram with her mother in where Twinkle is dancing with her mom and hugging her. Netizens couldn’t stop pouring their love and comfort watching this video. 

For the unversed, Twinkle was the lead of the show Udaariyaan in which she played Nehmat, the star exited the show post the leap and will be revealing about her upcoming projects soon.
