MUMBAI: After Arnab Banerjee-Ipsita and Anindita Raychaudhury-Sudip Sarkar, popular actor Mainak Banerjee is all set to get hitched to his girlfriend Aishwarya Chowdhury on February 18.

The handsome actor has been successfully handling his movies, web series, and current TV project ‘Dhulokona’.

Interestingly, Mainak’s fiance isn’t from the entertainment industry. She is from Mumbai and works in a reputed company as an automotive designer. The duo is quite excited about their new chapter of life.

Mainak met Aishwarya and they instantly became friends. The actor is quite passionate about cars and their common interest brought the duo closer. Spark was already there and Mainak-Aishwarya eventually realised the feelings they have for each other. Finally, the lovebirds decided to take their relationship to the next level.

The actor is a familiar face to the Bengali audience. He has been a part of several TV shows including ‘Thakumar Jhuli’, ‘ Loukik Na Oloukik’ as well as a web series. Mainak, who has a theatre background, is currently playing a meaty role in ‘Dhulokona’ which has an ensemble cast. He is playing Taan’s character in the show. According to the storyline, Taan is an educated guy who works in a reputed company. Mainak enjoys playing Taan's character in the show.

Mainak recently did a movie starring Jisshu U Sengupta and Solanki Roy.
