MUMBAI : Reality shows are much loved and watched by viewers in India. They provide the much needed entertainment for them, but also face a lot of backlash and trolling. Especially judges like Neha Kakkar who has this penchant to cry at the drop of a hat has been used as a meme several times. The judges have been criticized for over acting and sometimes exaggerating a situation a tad too much.

Singer Rekha Bharadwaj who has sung songs like Namak Ishq Ka, Kabira and Ghagra, took a dig at the reality judges without naming anyone but netizens feel that she might have hinted at Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani who are judges of Indian Idol.

Rekha’s tweet read, “Got to see a small clip of some reality show. Kid was quite normal but the judges acted like cartoon characters from animation shows . Fake n total acting … sad … why can’t they behave like a matured professional….”

Some of the amusing replies to her tweet read, “Kakkar Hi Hogi..” Another one read, “Not a single comment on singing , Not a single tips for improvement ( if they know) 

Auto tuners became judges of singing reality shows.”

One user commented, “Yes. I am sure you are talking about Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani.”

Reality shows have become the heart of Indian Television but are not spared from the backlash and mockery. The ones that are doing really well include Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Bigg Boss and many more.
