MUMBAI: Sonyliv is taking cue from other OTT platforms like Voot and Hotstar, and is all set to revamp. The streaming app is getting a facelift and the revamped version will be launched sometime in June. The date hasn't been revealed yet. 

SonyLIV will make a comeback with a few Indian series, starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Amit Sadh, Sharib Hashmi, and Shreya Dhanwantry. Four new shows produced by Applause Entertainment are a part of the relaunch of Sonyliv app. They are Your Honor, Avrodh, Undekhi and Scam 1992.

Your Honor is adapted from an Israeli series Kvodo. Directed by E Niwas, the thriller stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Varun Badola, and Mita Vashisht. 

Based on Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh's book India's Most Fearless, Avrodh stars Amit Sadh, Neeraj Kabi, Madhurima Tuli, and Darshan Kumar. The series is inspired by 2016's Uri surgical strike. 

Hansal Mehta's series Scam 1992 is based on Sucheta Dalal's book, The Scam, and will star Pratik Gandhi and Shreya Dhanwanthary in lead roles. While Undekhi features Dibeyendy Bhattacharya, Surya Sharma, Ayn Zoya and Anur Rathi, among others.

Sonyliv has also collaborated with filmmakers Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Nitesh Tiwari, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Nikkhil Advani to bring interesting content to the audience. Their line-up also includes gigs by comedians Kapil Sharma and Vir Das.
