MUMBAI: A lot of celebrities have tried to make the lockdown period entertaining by their songs, short-films and inspiring videos. Ashmit has collaborated with his ‘Dongri Ka Raja’ co-actress Reecha Sinha and Abhishek Mishra for an interesting Digital Talent Hunt programme Eenternet Got Talent wherein they’ve encouraged the audience to showcase their talent.

The viewers can send videos showcasing their talents which can be in any art form like singing, dancing, painting etc. The winner will get a chance to feature in Ashmit and Reecha’s music video. There are various other goodies, hampers and prizes decided for other winners.

TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Ashmit and asked him about the idea behind this initiative, he said, “The uncertain lockdown has brought about a lot of negativity among the people. The daily negative and upsetting news has only added to the plight and it was then that we decided to do something positive which can help the audience beat their quarantine blues and we decided to come up with Eenternet Got Talent. My team and I are amazed at the talent that the people of our country posesses and I’m glad that we could give them a platform”.

Did you get a good response on the initiative? we asked to which he responded, “The response was quite unexpected. We planned to shut the entries within a month or so but then with new entries pouring in daily, we thought to extend it a bit for more and more talented people coming forth with their stunning talents”.

He added, “I would like to make a special mention for my partners Reecha Sinha and Abhishek Mishra. The duo has worked quite hard for the project”.

Needless to say, it is indeed a commendable initiative to keep the audience occupied and realize the power of their own talent.
