MUMBAI: Disney Plus Hotstar has an interesting project brewing at its stables. It is an exciting movie about two con artists – engineering students – famous for pulling off con jobs at their college. Titled ‘Bahut Hua Samman’, it is the typical slice-of-life feel-good comedy that audiences love to watch. 

Bahut Hua Samman has an interesting casting slate. Remember Raghav Juyal – the brilliant dancer who won the audience's hearts with his scintillating dance moves on Dance India Dance 3? Well, the King Of Slow Motion, Raghav Juyal will play the lead in ‘Bahut Hua Samman’, Raghav Juyal had earlier featured in Remo D’Souza’s dance based hits, ABCD 2 and Street Dancer.

Playing co-lead with Juyal is Abhishek Chauhan, the actor who won accolades for TVF’s Cubicles and SonyLIV’s Undekhi. Bahut Hua Samman also features a strong ensemble cast, comprising acting powerhouses, Sanjay Mishra, Ram Kapoor, Nidhi Singh, Namit Das and Flora Saini.

The movie has been produced by Yoodlee Films, and is set in the backdrop of the city of Varanasi. It is directed by Ashish Shukla, and written by Avinash Singh and Vijay Narayan Verma.

Bahut Hua Samman has been creating interest among audiences ever since Sanjay Mishra announced it on social media back in July. The premise of Bahut Hua Samman is another interesting element of the movie. The two college students are recruited by Sanjay Mishra to pull off a bank robbery that he has planned. What follows is a laugh riot of goof ups and comic capers.
