EXCLUSIVE! Aarush Shrivastav opens up on playing a negative character in Pavitra Rishta 2.0, shares his experience of working with Ankita and Shaheer, says, "I never felt that they are leads of the show as they are extremely fun to work with"

Aarush Srivastava opens up on playing a pivotal role in ALT Balaji's Pavitra Rishta 2.0. The actor also shared his experience of working with Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh.

MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor's popular digital series Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is once again back with a new season.

The show stars Shaheer Sheikh and Ankita Lokhande in the lead roles as Manav and Archana in the series.

Pavitra Rishta 2.0's previous seasons got a good response from the fans and this season too seems to be extremely promising.

Apart from Ankita and Shaheer, the makers have roped in many well-known actors for the show.

Aarush Shrivastav is one of them who plays a pivotal role in the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Aarush who spoke about his role in the show and much more.

What kind of role are you playing?

I am playing a negative lead in the show. I am seen as Archana's sister-in-law's brother who owns the cafe. Ankita is his employee. I really like Archana and want to marry her. My character is negative and Archana doesn't like me. I am playing various tricks to get Archana in my life.

What was your reaction when you were offered a part in Ekta Kapoor's big show?

I have worked with many renowned production houses. I have never worked with ALT Balaji before. I always wanted to do a role in an ALT Balaji web series where I can have enough screen space. I wanted my character to look extremely expressive. God heard my prayers and I got such a nice role.

How has your experience been with Ankita and Shaheer?

I did not feel that Ankita is the lead actress of the series. Her seniority level is much higher than I have. We have a lot of fun off-screen. Also, I share a sister-like bond with my co-star and on-screen sister Abidnya. Ankita is a very lively person. She creates a fun atmosphere on the sets in between the scenes. Shaheer too is a good person to work with.
