MUMBAI: Abhishek Banerjee is one of the most talented actors on the small screen. 

The actor has come a long way in his career with several hit projects to his credit. 

Abhishek is well-known for his roles in projects like Stree, Pataal Lok, Bala, and Dream Girl among others. 

He was also seen in Lust Stories, Mirzapur, and Made In China among others. 

The talented actor is now gearing up for his upcoming web show The Great Weddings of Munnes. 

Abhishek will be seen playing a pivotal role in the web show and will be paired opposite actress Barkha Singh.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Abhishek got candid about his character, the web show and much more.

What is The Great Weddings of Munnes all about?

It is about a guy who is trying to find a girl. Things work in his favour and he finds Mahi. She somehow falls in love with Munnes. We are about to get married and we are halfway there and the pandit interrupts the marriage. Munnes have to get married to a girl before he gets married to Mahi due to some problems in his horoscope. 

How was the experience shooting for this web show?

I think I went back to my school life. I was a very shy kid in my school days. I just remembered an incident from my school life which happened in my 5th grade. 

What is so unique about The Great Weddings of Munnes? 

Well, I think a poll must be run where we all will come to know the public opinion. The show has a unique storyline. I feel it is relatable to everyone. The plus point of this show is that there will be one character like Munnes in everyone's life. 

On a fun note, when Abhishek was asked if got a chance with whom he would like to swap his character to which he said that he would like to play Barkha's character Mahi as he would love to look beautiful like her.
