MUMBAI: Hotstar's most successful web series Aarya season 2 was announced a long time ago and fans couldn't contain their excitement.

The first season was full of interesting twists and turns in the story with an open end which promised more thrill in the next season.

The shooting of the web series has begun and fans are already quite excited about it.

While Sushmita Sen was lauded for her fine performance in the first season, there's another actor who won several accolades for his excellent portrayal. It is none other than Ankur Bhatia.

Ankur was seen as Sangram Singh on the show. He played the role of Sushmita aka Aarya's brother.

The viewers got to see a completely different side of Ankur in season one and now, fans can't wait to see Ankur in Aarya 2.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Ankur got candid about his role in Aarya 2 and spilt some interesting beans on the same.

While Ankur couldn't divulge many details about his character, he said, ''The viewers can expect a lot. There is a lot more of Sangram in season 2. There will be a lot more happening throughout the show with everyone. The viewers are going to be at the edge of the seat.''

Further, when we asked about his experience working with Sushmita Sen, Ankur went on to praise the Bong beauty and said, ''It has been an amazing experience for me for both the seasons. Now she is a family to me and the same goes for her. I still remember when we first met for the workshop and we ended up chatting for almost 2 hours. The chemistry was there since the first day and it never felt out of place. Our bond started getting thicker over time.''

Well, Ankur has definitely left us extremely excited for Aarya 2.
