MUMBAI: ZEE5 has picked up a Telugu web-series Loser, a story about the lives of three sportsmen, to be released as an original on May 15.
The drama, based on the timespan from 1980s to 2000s, revolves around the lives of three determined sportsmen Pallavi (Pavani), Willson (Shashank), and Elder Rubi (Kalpika) while they fight social, political, and financial odds to excel at their chosen sports.
'Never met a winner that wasn’t a sore LOSER! Our LOSERS are here who got up and gave it one more try', said the maker.

The Telugu web-series, directed by Abhilash Reddy, is being bankrolled by Spectrum Media Network and Annapurna Studios.
The digital platform is heavily investing in regional content, and the sports drama is sure to strike a chord of tenacity with the audience.
