MUMBAI: Rohit Shetty is ready with his next release, Indian Police Force which is a cop action drama and will stream on Amazon Prime Video. Along with Rohit Shetty the series is created and directed by Sushwanth Prakash and it will be a major part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.

This series stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Deepika Padukone, and Prakash Raj in the lead. The series has been in talks for some time now as it marks Rohit Shetty’s first OTT project and first series.

Other actors that will be part of the series are Shweta Tiwari, Isha Talwar, Vibhuti Thakur, Nikitin Dheer and many more well-known faces.

The trailer of the series released earlier and it made a wave amongst the audience. The trailer revealed the action-pack cop dhamaka with Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty and Sharad Kelkar taking the charge and fighting terrorists to protect the capital of the country, Delhi.

The hype for the series is real and having said that, let’s look at some expectations that the audience seem to have with the series.

Action

We have watched a lot of Rohit Shetty movies earlier. Recently, we also got to see some behind-the-scenes videos wherein we saw the prep for action sequences. It is sure that Rohit Shetty’s debut series will have no less of action and at the same time, it’ll also be something that you can watch with your family.

Patriotism

Indian Police Force the series is a tribute to the police officers who dedicate their lives to keep us all safe. The series shows the fight against terrorism. In reality, the police in the past have faced and fought terrorism and we are sure that Rohit Shetty will do justice in showing that spirit of patriotism.

Singham connection

We first saw Ajay Devgn in Simmba that starred Ranveer Singh and then we saw Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn in Sooryavanshi that starred Akshay Kumar. Now we will soon get to watch Singham Again wherein we will get to watch all the cops in action and additionally even a lady cop Deepika Padukone will be introduced. Now, at the trailer launch event it was revealed by Rohit Shetty that Shweta Tiwari, who is a part of Indian Police Force will also be seen in Singham Again. This only builds up the expectation that in some way, the events in Indian Police Force will be connected to Singham Again.

Performances

The audience is getting to watch Vivek Oberoi after a long gap. However, even earlier, Vivek Oberoi has not let us down with his performance and has given his best. We can expect an amazing performance from his side. Shilpa Shetty will be seen getting back in action after a really long time and watching her in the trailer takes us back to the time of ‘Dus’ when we had seen her in action mode. There’s no doubt it’s going to be amazing to see her back in action. Sidharth Malhotra has done action before but this will be the first time we will see him doing action in uniform.

We are sure the series will be a great watch and most importantly it will be something you can enjoy with your family.
