MUMBAI: Tamannaah Bhatia has come a long way in her career. From starting in the South industry to making her mark in the Hindi film industry, Tamannaah has amassed a massive fan following over the years. The actress who was recently seen in the OTT series Jee Karda also made headlines for the latest OTT Netflix anthology Lust Stories 2.

The actress has been in the news for her steamy intimate scenes in the show with her co-star and now boyfriend Vijay Verma. Speaking about doing intimate scenes for the first time on-screen Tamannaah told a news portal, “I was that audience that would get awkward sitting with my family, sitting and watching something like that. I would start looking around, I would start fidgeting or be uncomfortable and for a large part of my career, I didn’t do any intimacy in my movies or in anything that I showcased.”
She further added, “So for me, it was a journey from being an actor who caters to a massier audience to now doing stuff that, growing up for me, was a stigma. I just don’t want that to happen to the audience now cause they don’t need that anymore. That illusion has broken for me, so I am enjoying exploring myself as an artist and doing varied characters and work”

Lust Stories 2 released on 29th June and has an ensemble cast that includes Kajol, Neena Gupta, Tillotama Shome, Mrunal Thakur, Kumud Mishra, Amruta Subhash and Angad Bedi. The anthology is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, R Balki, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Konkona Sen Sharma.
