MUMBAI:Sumeet Vyas is one of the most talented actors we have in the Indian film industry. This year, till now, he has been seen in five projects, Chhatriwali, Mrs Undercover, Afwaah, Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke, and Tankesh Diaries.

Talking about the actor, he has been part of a very popular OTT series Permanent Roommates which is about a couple who were in a long distance relationship for 3 years but then face the prospect of getting married.

The series featured Sumeet Vyas, Nidhi Singh, and Deepak Kumar Mishra to name a few.

The show’s second season came in the year 2016 and after all this time, the show has once again released this year and the reviews have been amazing.

However, other than the series, Sumeet Vyas has also been a part of the latest movie Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video which stars Nimrat Kaur, Radhika Madan and Bhagyashree to name a few.

Tellychakkar got in touch with Sumeet Vyas where he talked about the audience reaction for the series, his memorable scene from the series and his character in the movie.

How do you feel about the audience reaction for the new season of Permanent Roommates?

On this, Sumeet Vyas said that the audience reaction has been overwhelming. The actor talked about how they were nervous for the 3rd season as they were coming back after a long time but the audience reaction was better than expected.

Since you have come back with the series after a long time, what was a memorable scene from the show?

To this, Sumeet Vyas replied saying that in the 4th episode of 3 season, there was a tough scene where Mikesh had a breakdown. He added that on reading the script they had felt that the scene is very powerful and should be done sensitively. The actor also added that he wanted to do the scene carefully, shot the scene in one take and that was the reason why he felt being an actor.

Tell us about your character in the movie Sajini Shinde ka Viral Video and what you say ‘Yes’ for the character?

On this, Sumeet Vyas said that Mikhil Musale, the director of the movie is his dear friend and when he approached Sumeet, the actor couldn’t refuse as he loves working with friends and cannot say no to them. Adding to this, he said that he didn’t even want to know about the role and was ready to shoot whenever the director wanted him to. Explaining further about the character Sumeet said that it is more of extended cameo, shot for 2-3 days but was a treat working with Mikhil, who is very curious to know what the actor brings to the table which is a sign of a very secure director.
