MUMBAI: Upcoming web series titled Heeramandi is no doubt one of the most talked about and one of the much awaited shows of all time. The web series which is based on the period drama during the period of partition is directed by one of the finest filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The web series has been the talk of the town not only because of Sanjay Leela Bhansali making his digital debut but also because some amazing actresses and their collaboration with the ace director.
These actresses will be seen in an intriguing avatar and in a single frame in this upcoming web series.

Over a long period of time, the fans had been eagerly looking forward to the details of the upcoming web series and today finally the first glimpses and the teaser of the web series were released during the Press Conference which was held in Mumbai.

Talking about the much awaited shows, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that over the time he has been making movies and projects through the things which he has seen and converting them into movies.

But this was something which he had to play only from his imagination, and he had never seen the setup during the time of partition so he had to play with his imagination for this series.

The filmmaker also said that the idea of Heeramandi was there with him for 14 years and he was looking forward to work on the script and the story writing and he was waiting for the proper cast and looking at the beautiful ladies in the cast of the web series, he said everyone has given their best for the parts.

The director also said that a lot of credit should be given to the costume designer and the set designers who have made sure that the show is filled with authenticity which has come across very beautifully.
