MUMBAI: While one simply can’t get enough of Anuj and Gauravi’s love story in ALTBalaji’s Baarish Season 2, another major reason for the show’s success has been the cameo role by veteran actor Jeetendra Kapoor. Like a breath of fresh air, the legendary actor delivers a power-packed performance regaling both his old fans and new ones too.

The leading homegrown OTT platform ALTBalaji recently released a behind-the-scenes video starring the veteran. The actor is seen talking briefly about his character Jeetuji Gandhi who is a jeweler by profession and plays cupid between Anuj (Sharman Joshi) and Gauravi (Asha Negi). The audience will also get to see the glimpses of how he tries his best to help them solve their misunderstandings by explaining to them the importance of staying together through the best and worst of times and maintaining relationships in his unique style.

In the BTS video, Jeetendra Kapoor is seen describing his role. He says, "In this web series, I am a jeweler by profession and I am trying to bring the hero and the heroine back together. I see that they are gems as people and are going through a rough patch. I try all the cards to get them back together and save their marriage from breaking."

Baarish is an unusual tale between a middle-class girl and a rich businessman. The show embraces the roller coaster journey of life which strikes the right chord with viewers who always root for love. Starring a talented ensemble that includes Priya Banerjee, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Abhishek Verma, Anuj Duhan, Shubhangi Latkar, Benaf Patel and Sahil Shroff, it’s a delightful watch to see the rain playing cupid once again in getting Anuj and Gauravi back together.
