MUMBAI : Kajol is one actress who has left audiences spellbound with every character that she has portrayed on screen. Her charismatic screen presence that makes fans fall in love with her has not changed even today after decades of her being in the industry. She’s been part of some of the biggest hits in Indian film history and two of them include Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham.

Kajol is all set to make her OTT series debut with the upcoming series The Trial, which is the official remake of the American series The Good Wife. The show follows the journey of a woman who is a homemaker but returns to becoming a lawyer after her husband is arrested in a sex scandal. 

The Trial is produced by Kajol’s hubby and actor Ajay Devgn. The series also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait, Gaurav Pandey and Aamir Ali. Her co-star Alyy Khan has now given an interesting update about his co-star that she might be breaking her no kissing policy for the series. Kajol has kissed on-screen twice in her career once with Kamal Sadanah in her debut Bekhudi, and with Akshay Kumar in the 1994 film Yeh Dillagi.

Alyy has now revealed that he has had a crush on Kajol for  a long time and he will be having a french kissing scene with the actress in the series. Alyy also mentioned that Ajay Devgn was not present at the time the kissing scene was shot and it was done in a single take with no rehearsals. 

The trail will stream tomorrow on Disney + Hotstar. Kajol was last seen in Lust Stories 2.
