MUMBAI : Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor starrer The Night Manager have received a great response. The makers have released the web series in two parts and while part 1 was released on 17th February 2023, part 2 will be reportedly out in June. 

In the web series, Arista Mehta plays a very pivotal role named Safina. (Spoiler Alert) But, her character dies and that’s how the story moves forward. 

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Arista and spoke to her about coming back in part 2, her upcoming projects, and more. 

Safina goes through a lot in the series. So, was it difficult for you to play the character? 

Initially, it was because I could not relate to Safina at all in any way, except for the age part and her being a little mature; that is something we had in common. But, her getting married and getting abused by her husband was something I didn’t know how to portray because I had not been through something like that. So, we did a lot of workshops.

Safina’s character dies in the first part, but will we get to see her in the second part, maybe in the flashbacks? 

Maybe, I would not like to say that I would recommend you to just watch it. But yes, the point of Shaan going to Shelly, and everything happening is at the end of the day because of Safina. So, she will be here and there.

Tell us something about your upcoming projects. 

So, I have a movie called Sharmajee Ki Beti that’s coming this year. Then I am doing a web series for Amazon, but I cannot talk about it.
