MUMBAI: A lot of webseries are being launched which are closer to real life and are infotainers!

One of Zee5’s flagship projects is Rangbaaz. The series was loved by one and all and since the drama was a massive hit, the makers launched a season two titled, Rangbaaz Phirse. Well, now sources inform us that the makers are planning to churn out a season 3 of the series.

The first season of Rangbaaz shared a true story of Shri Prakash Shukla whose name was changed to Shiv Prakash Shukla, a notorious gangster and the most wanted criminal of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The series shows his journey from a DDU student to becoming the second most wanted criminal in India. The season two was inspired by the life of Anandpal Singh whose name was changed to Amarpal Singh, who was a gangster active in the state of Rajasthan. The series chronicles his rise to becoming the most wanted criminal in the history of Rajasthan. The story also covers his business of illicit liquor, his rivalry with Gopal Phogawat (name changed to Raja Phogat), and his dynamics with the political leadership of the state.
