MUMBAI: Mallika Singh is a talented actress. Currently a part of Yeh Hai Chahatein, she has smitten the audience with her personality and acting chops.

In an exclusive conversation with the actress, she shared her beauty regime.

What is your beauty regime like?

In the morning after my shower I apply moisturiser, then I put vitamin C and then I put sunscreen. If I am not shooting, then I do not apply anything but a little kohl. Otherwise, I come to the set and wear another hydrating cream because there is a lot of make-up to be worn on the set.

Homemade nuskas?

If I am shooting in the sun, I come home and scrub myself with besan and malai and honey otherwise I use some exfoliating scrub. Otherwise I believe in eating well and drinking lots of water. Another thing is that however late I come home, I never sleep without my night regime that is removing my makeup and putting on my night cream.

How will you enhance your beauty to make a man fall in love with you?

I feel the way you behave and the way you interact with people will attract the person. No amount of make-up can attract a man if your nature is not right.

What do you do when you really need to look your best for a big event?

I would love open hair as I have got good thick and long hair. If it is an Indian occasion, I always go with sarees because I feel Indian women look best in the attire. Another thing is that I love wearing heels.
Any beauty disasters you encountered?

Initially, when I began my journey, I wasn’t aware that we had to carry our own make-up. So when the make-up dada used to come, he used to use the same which he has used on everyone’s face and when I had acne I realised and started collecting my own make-up which is now a huge vanity kit now. I am very strict about it.

What do you have to wear on your day out?

My heels!

You must have essayed so many roles in your career span. Which look is your favourite?

There is a show on Star Plus which I did titled Kya Kassor Hai Amla Ka.I absolutely loved that look.
