MUMBAI : Beauty and skincare have been growing markets in India. While Indians look up to Bollywood celebs for beauty routines, there are several brands owned by Indian celebrities. They have invested in the market to bring the best products to their fans.

From Katrina Kaif to Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Bollywood celebs own quality brands. Here are five beauty brands owned by Bollywood stars:

1. Kay Beauty by Katrina Kaif
There was a lot of hype when Katrina launched her makeup and beauty brand Kay Beauty in 2019. She launched a campaign with Zoya Akhtar that said #ItsKayToBeYou. The actor brought a cruelty-free, vegan and paraben-free brand into the market. Even the social media page of the brand is filled with models and people across the gender and sexuality spectrums, also representing different skin types and tones.

2. Anomaly Haircare by Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka brought an environment-friendly and comparatively affordable haircare brand Anomaly Haircare. The products are available at Target stores in the US. The packaging is done with plastic trash; the products are paraben, sulphate, vegan, and cruelty-free. The brand promises healthy and vibrant hair.

3. Star Struck by Sunny Leone 
Launched in 2018, Star Struck is a PETA-certified, cruelty-free, vegan makeup line by Sunny Leone. The actor’s personality, vision of cruelty-free products and social work are reflected in her brand. Starting with lip products, the brand expanded to concealers, mascaras, colour correctors and more. 

4. Naked by Lisa Haydon 
Promoting natural and organic beauty products, actress Lisa Haydon launched Naked in 2013. The products are handcrafted and preservative-free. Lisa also aims to collaborate with Ayurvedic doctors for further development. 

5. Love Child by Masaba Gupta 
Fashion designer and actor Masaba Gupta launched her vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free beauty brand. The products range from matte and liquid matte lipsticks, nail enamels, face mists and intimate wipes.
