MUMBAI: Mohit Malik is a well-known name in the industry who gained popularity with his role as Samrat Singh Rathore in the Zee TV serial ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’ in 2013. It wasn’t about the role but Mohit is recognized for the performance he has given in all the serials he has worked in, as all the characters that he played, left a mark on the audience and they admired him for it. Mohit did most of his schooling and college in Delhi. He went for schooling to Air Force Bal Bharti school, New Delhi and later did his higher education from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College in Delhi. Mohit Later went to Amity University, Noida where he finally completed his education.

Here’s an interesting fact about the actor – He was doing B.com but dropped out of it, and later completed his graduation in BBA.

Mohit’s career started off with the Star Plus serial, ‘Miilee’ in 2005 as Aaoni with the lead actress being Mona Vasu who played the character of Miilee. The show also starred his wife (now), Addite Shirwaikar Malik.

Mohit was adored by the viewers for his performance in all the serials that he worked in. After his debut in 2005, he worked in a lot of other shows like Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Jabb Love Hua, Betiyaan Apni Yaa Paraaya Dhan, Durgesh Nandinii, Pari Hoon Main, Adalat, Phulwa, and his last serial being Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, where his character was loved by everyone as the character and the story was very heart-warming. He also won a Gold Award for his performance in the serial which went off-air in Feb 2020. Mohit gained recognition with his performance in Doli Armaanon Ki in 2013 for which he was also awarded a Gold Award (Best actor in negative role).

On the personal side of his life, he has 2 brothers  - Rahul and Rohit Malik, and 1 sister – Esha Malik. Mohit married his ‘Miilee’ co-star, Addite Shirwaikar in Dec 2020 and the couple became parents to a baby boy in April 2021.
