MUMBAI: Bollywood is under the radar of NCB, following the sudden and untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The agency had earlier arrested SSR’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty in the drugs case. Rhea and Showik were later granted bail. The NCB also questioned several biggies from the Hindi film industry. Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades were questioned by the NCB. Now, in a significant development, Rampal’s sister Komal has been summoned in the drugs case. 

According to a report by ANI, released on their official Twitter handle, Arjun Rampal’s sister Komal Rampal has been summoned by the NCB. This is the second time when Komal has been summoned. Earlier, she was asked to appear before the agency on January 7. However, she had informed the NCB that she would be unable to appear for questioning, and Komal had asked the agency for a further date to appear.

Arjun Rampal, who is being investigated, was questioned by the NCB on November 13. On November 9, the NCB had raided the actor’s residence. The officials had reportedly seized electronic gadgets and some medicines too. According to a report in ABP News, The Rock On actor alleged that the NCB had seized his dog’s pain medication and his sister’s anxiety pills. He was reported saying that his sister was prescribed the medication by a psychiatrist in Delhi. 

The NCB has so far arrested nearly 25 people, including Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella’s brother Agisialos Demetriades. Celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and a few others from the TV industry were also questioned by the NCB.
