Now, after Rhea Chakraborty’s media trial and arrest by the NCB in the actor Sushant Singh Rajput case, an excerpt from veteran actor Rekha’s autobiography of her media trial after her husband Mukesh Aggarwal’s demise goes viral. 

On Facebook, a social media user shared a video and penned down her thoughts on the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty. With the raging debate after Rhea’s ‘smashing patriarchy’ tee made headlines, a social media user shared a post referring to an excerpt from veteran actor Rekha’s autobiography Rekha: The Untold Story by Yasser Usman. The except shared by the user talks about how the veteran actress was labelled as ‘witch’ or ‘black widow’ when he husband and businessman Mukesh Aggarwal died by suicide in 1990, only about a few months after their marriage. Reportedly, Aggarwal used to suffer from chronic depression but it was Rekha who was blamed for his demise.

With something similar happening to Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput's case, sharing the excerpt from Rekha’s autobiography, the social media user wrote, “The press lapped up the sensational story of Mukesh’s suicide and featured reports with outrageous headlines like ‘The Black Widow’ (Showtime, November 1990) and ‘The Macabre Truth behind Mukesh’s Suicide’ (Cine Blitz, November 1990). Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on Tuesday by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection to the drugs angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Apart from the actress, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s two staff members and drug peddlars were arrested by the NCB.
