MUMBAI : Shantanu Maheshwari is getting an amazing response for his recently released movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, which had Alia Bhatt in the leading role. The actor was indeed seen in a never seen before avatar as a tailor in the movie. He was loved for his character graph and some sizzling chemistry with Alia Bhatt.

On asking about the pressure the actor faced on being part of such a massive film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and sharing screen space with actress Alia Bhatt, he said he did not have any pressure. Everyone on the sets was very friendly and approachable. It is the beauty of the person Sanjay Leela Bhansali is and his approach because of whom the magic was created on screen by every actor. He believes that if someone has put his trust in you, then you should be giving your full 100% in return and that is what he has done.

Shantanu Maheshwari on types of characters he looks forward to

Indeed the actor is getting some beautiful comments for his movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, and on asking about the types of characters he looks forward to doing, he said he would definitely love to do something like Leonardo DiCaprio did in the movie The Wolf of Wall Street.
