MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left a huge void in everyone’s hearts, especially that of his close friends and family members. It was on 14 June that he breathed his last after hanging himself to death in his Mumbai apartment. Throughout Sushant’s funeral and its pre-proceedings, his close friend and producer Sandip Ssingh stood like a rock and was there to support his friends and family. Sandip also shares a great bond with Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, Ssingh opened up on how Lokhande was, as a partner to Sushant.

Sandip revealed that Ankita wasn’t Sushant’s girlfriend, but someone like his late mother who took care of him like nobody else. He added how Ankita used to wear clothes and cook food of Rajput’s choice. The interiors of their house, in fact, were of Sushant’s choice too. Sandip said, “Ankita was not his girlfriend. She has taken the place of his mother in his life. In twenty years of my journey in the industry, I have never seen a girl like her. She has taken care of him like nobody else. She could have been the only one who could have saved him. She is used to doing everything rightfully for him. If she is used to getting ready as per Sushant's choice.” 

He added, “The food she used to cook was to be of his choice. The house interior used to be of what and how he likes. Books which used to be there in the house were what he likes to read. So everything used to be according to Sushant for his happiness.”
