Love U Zindagi fame actress Pavitra Punia is all set to make her presence felt on 70mm in the coming months, opposite well-known producer-director Mahesh Bhatt. Yes, Pavitra has got her first big break. The film titled Siddhartha- Love, Lust and Peace is being presented by Onex Entertainment, produced by Prabhat Pandey and directed by Mukul Mishra. Pavitra will be in the lust part of the story. Her character will be more like Chandramukhi of Devdas – who will be the lust queen of a region. “I wasn’t sure about the role, for it was a very challenging one and I took it up,” confirmed the actress. She further went on to add, “I never wanted to be part of a Bollywood project. But then the offer came my way and I thought about giving it a try.” When asked about TV she stated, “I think I will take a two year break from TV as I am getting Bollywood offers. The same production house has offered me their next as lead opposite Pulkit Samrat (Fukrey fame). Unfortunately I never made it big on TV in spite of always wanting to be in the space. So I am going to try my luck here this time.” Mahesh Bhatt will also play an important character in this film. Apart from him Shazahn Padamsee is also a part of this venture in the ‘peace’ part of the story. The love part is being essayed by a foreigner. The film is all set to release sometime in August 2014.
